Writing SparkplugB data to an OPC-UA server

Hi community,

we are a Pharma packaging company and are currently in the evaluation of Ignition together with MQTT to integrate our machine data (mainly to historian and Cloud Data Lake).
We do this by reading data from the OPC-UA server of the PLC from Ignition Edge and send the data to an MQTT Broker (SparkPlug B).

We do also need to write data to the OPC-UA server of the machine/PLC. So far I wasn't able to understand if this is possible within the same architecture. Sparkplug B provides a way to write "Commands" with DCMD to devices, but is it possible to write these demands to the OPC-UA tags of the PLC?

Thank you for your help
André

I found a description to the use-case on my own and will try it: Sparkplug NCMD or DCMD workflow using MQTT Modules - MQTT Modules for Ignition 8.x - Confluence

Thank you
