I am using the report module to generate a XY Chart summary of a production run. Below I have attached an image of the chart when viewed within the Ignition Report Designer, it is smooth and I would like to email, save as pdf etc this exact version. The other image is what I get when I publish to PDF or export it out of Ignition. Is there a setting to enable 100% resolution?
In 8.3, the XY Chart will be able to produce vectors and the resulting PDF should have smoother lines. One thing to note about the 8.3 version for this particular chart, there’s an error where the legend does not show the pen when the style is line.
Unfortunately, yes. Although I’m not sure there’s a satisfactory workaround, see the following related thread on the matter.
As for 8.3, note that for this particular chart you will need a workaround for the legend when using lines. Pen 1 below is suppose to show a line, but it’s empty.
