Yaskawa 2200 conection

Hello everyone, i have a question for you, I´m working on an integration of a system with a machine that has a plc Yaskawa 2200, I just want to know if someone has ever worked before with these PLCs and ignition edge, because I would like if i need to be carefull with some additional configuration before trying to make the connection with the PLC

My plan is to make the connection between the yaskawa and ignition edge using the tcp module, but if you have a better option please let me know

Regards

MODBUS/TCP should be an option for this device. You might can even use EtherNet/IP if you have the 263IF-01 comms module, which might work with Phil's Ignition module for that. I'm not sure if the module works on Ignition Edge.

A different model, but may have some useful insights, Yaskawa MP2600iec, What module for Connectivity? - Ignition - Inductive Automation Forum

You could also use Kepware Server as a middleware between the PLC and Ignition. Yaskawa Suite | Kepware | PTC
This will most likely lock you into Windows to run the Kepware server, though.

The Ethernet module claims to support MELSEC-A, aka Mitsubishi's PLC protocol. This might work with IA's native Mitsubishi driver.
