I'm looking to create a image dashboard of recent pictures taken from our vision systems.
We have a number of vision systems at our facility. I have a script that will copy the latest image every 15 minutes and copy it into a network repository for future review. I'd like to create a view in Ignition Perspective that shows the last image captured. I was thinking the easiest would be to setup a special folder on the ignition server and simply replace the displayed image file each update. I'm hoping that Ignition will dynamically update the image on the screen.
Is this the best way of doing this or does anyone have any suggestions?
My experience with images is that I upload them into the Image Management or drag them directly on the screen but then they don't update.
