OPC UA Connection Setup Issues

Hi, newbie here and struggling to get my connection setup for the first time.

The issue is identical to that highlighted in [OPC-UA Server connection refused](https://this topic), only the solution highlighted there isn't working for me, or I am misunderstanding it.

Upon changing my endpoint from local point to the IP address I am presented with

UaException: status=Bad_ConnectionRejected, message=io.netty.channel.AbstractChannel$AnnotatedConnectException: Connection refused: no further information: /192.168.0.241:62541

Are you trying to connect Ignition to another server or connect another client to Ignition?

Changes to the settings in your screenshot require a restart to take effect.

I'm following this video tutorial on setting up connection to a S7-1200.

I have tried restarting my machine with no success as yet

I don't know who created this video and have not watched it yet, but setting up a connection to another OPC UA server does not involve the settings you are messing around with.

I'm struggling with the very first step before even getting to the point of setting up the link with the PLC, which I believe though could well be mistaken is the server to client configuration. I got to the those settings as that was a solution you proposed in the other linked post to a user who had what appeared to be the same issue I was having when trying to change the endpoint url to my PC's IP address from localhost.

I will read through the official documentation tonight as there is some fundamental concept or terminology I haven't grasped yet around how this works.
