OPC UA - new tags not showing up all the time in Designer

I have a Perspective project that has a lot (44k) tags gathered from several different OPC UA devices. There are 5 different Control/GuardLogix processors configured. Their configuration is shown below and is consistent with exception of the names, IP address, and slot. We have found that when adding new tags to the processor that the new tags do not always show up in Designer’s tag tree. PLC using Logix Driver goes "Idle"

I have a project that reading and writing to a PLC However, when the PLC goes offline, either from maintenance or scheduled downtime, if it’s down for an extended time, we think more that 20 minutes, the drive goes to status of idle and never comes out of it until we disable and re-enable the device. Is this normal behavior and how can I prevent this?

I’m running into the same issue with a 5581ES running 32.11 firmware. I’ve tried connecting to the PLC with servers running the following Ignition versions: • 7.9.9 • 7.9.12 • 8.0.9 And I get the same symptoms as OP. I am connected, can browse, but have bad quality on any tag. I am connected over an ENBT card in slot 2 of the rack, and then to slot 0. Tags Becoming Stale

I have a problem whereby tags are going stale. Ignition version 8.0.15 I’m still not sure that it isn’t a network problem, but I am unsure as to how to diagnose the Ignition system to check its usage. I have six clients currently connected and since the last two were brought online tags have been going stale. I restart them and they are fine for a few minutes, then I lose them again. CompactLogix v32 connectivity lost

Hi folks, Ignition 7.9.6 We’ve got a v32 5069 processor that’s been running and connected for several months with no issues. Over the weekend, it seems to have lost connectivity to Ignition. We’ve power cycled the device, restarted the logix driver, it just won’t connect properly. In the gateway, it shows as “Connected,” but I cannot view the details.
