PLC – S7-1500
Problem – I am trying to connect the PLC to Ignition, but it is showing only “Connecting.”
Background – I do not have an available port on the PLC. I added one communication module, cm 1542-1, and configured it (showing healthy). I set an IP address (ping successful, no duplicate ip) and provided the gateway. The correct driver is also selected.
But it is still not connected.
Is there any other reason for this issue?

Can you share the settings you are using in the drive to connect with?
I have only option choose driver
Example:- S7-1500
If you prefer to use the new Siemens Enhanced driver, you need to install the module for it. It is included in the installer, but is not installed by default. The license for the Siemens enhanced driver is sold separately.
What next step should I take
Show as the setting for Siemens driver (the three dots at the right)
where you set the IP, rack nr., cpu slot nr., port,...
