i deleted a project by accident from the gateway webpage. Is there a way to restore it? Using a backup wont help me, as we do our Backups at midnight and it wouldn't give me back the whole day of work....

To have any chance, you need to dig a bit in the backend.
See that topic for some reference points.
If in doubt, raise a ticket with support to look over your shoulder.

The autobackups mentioned in that post won't help with projects, only the core config IDB.
You're welcome to contact support, and they might be able to pull a rabbit out of a hat, but unless you've set up filesystem level backups (outside of Ignition) you're probably going to have to go back to your scheduled gateway backup.

... and then change the frequency of your scheduled backups to e.g. every 2 hours, to mitigate the damage if this happens again.
