[SOLVED] Designer "Launch client jar Invalid" error on Ubuntu

I've got this error “Launch client jar Invalid” too and the solution from 83641 didn't help.

I tried starting the Designer like this:

cd ~/.local/share/applications/app
~/.local/share/applications/runtime/bin/java -jar launcher-designer-linux.jar

and noticed that permissions were missing for ~/.ignition/

So the problem was fixed with this command:
sudo chown -R $USER:$USER ~/.ignition/
