Feature Request: Support for Additional Icon Libraries in Perspective

Hi Ignition Team,

First, thank you for the continued improvements to Perspective.

I have a feature request regarding the Icon component in Perspective.

While Ignition provides a good collection of built-in icons, there are many situations where developers need icons that are not available in the current library. In real-world projects, we often need icons from sources such as Google Material Icons, Font Awesome, or other popular icon libraries to better match application requirements and modern UI designs.

I understand that the common workaround is to use the Image component and import SVG/image files. However, this approach has some limitations:

The Image component is not as convenient as the Icon component for styling and consistency.
In some cases, imported images do not appear as clear or crisp as built-in icons.
Image quality can appear degraded when resizing.
Images may shrink, stretch, or scale differently across containers and screen sizes.
Maintaining a consistent look and feel becomes more difficult when mixing built-in icons with imported images.

It would be very helpful if Perspective could support one of the following:

Importing custom SVG icons directly into the Icon component.
Support for Google Material Icons or other popular icon libraries.
A way for developers to register and manage their own icon libraries.
Access to external icon libraries in the same way that built-in icons are currently used.

Since Perspective is widely used across many industries and large-scale applications, more flexible icon management would significantly improve the development experience and help create more modern, professional user interfaces.

Is there currently a supported way to extend the Icon component with additional icon libraries, or could this be considered as a feature enhancement for a future release?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Have a quick search around the forum, this is a common task that many people do.
